sami's 5th barkday

Hi friends! It is my Barkday today and I am 5 years old! Allie and Mommy woke me up this morning with barkday pressies! I got my favorites. Can you guess what I got?

Allie got me 3 new tennis balls! Gosh you know how I love them.

Mommy got me a orange loofa doggie....it squeaks and makes all kinds of sounds that drive me CRAZY...I just love it!

Okay, I have put the tennis ball down to let you know what is up.It has been so long since Mommy has let me post and I am trilled that she let me on my barkday. She has been so busy since we moved into the new farm house. Well, guess I have too. We have lots of interesting smells on the farm and a duck family that visits our pond. A mama duck followed by 3 baby ducks and the a daddy duck. I love to talk to them but I think I might scare them with my big loud bark....hehehehehe

My human brother Dale has just graduated from high school with Cuma Laude Honors and will be attending JB Speed School @ University of Louisville in Bio Medical Engineering. He also received a 4 yr. trustee scholarship and this summer was offered an internship with James Brown Cancer Research Center here in Louisville. Gosh, I am so proud of him! I am a little sad since he will be living on the dorms doing school and that means I won't get to see him that much! :(

Thats about all the excitement here. Baylee is doing good too and has been getting fat..hahah well she gained 5 LBS since moving to the farm. You would have thought she would have lost weight, with more room to run but she says it is muscle..try telling that one to the doggie doctor! Well, I have got ice cream to eat and mommy is making homemade whipped cream for me today.....ooooo so yummy my favorite. Dinner is also my favorite, can you say CHICKEN?

Lilly our new Kitty we rescued is so funny. She will not stay out of the Christmas Tree!

Sami will not leave the presents alone and keeps begging mommy for a present but no luck!

Baylee here, what have we been up too? I do have to tell you that we got the barn ready and we have 3 horses now, yelpers I said 3. Justice and our 2 new ones are Buddy the pony and Payten. Buddy Mom found at a rescue place called New beginnings. He was left to starve from his previous owners but luckily rescued by a very nice lady at New Beginnings. Buddy is a haflinger/quarter pony. Payten is Daddy's horse and she loves me. Everytime I go outside she meets me by the pasture. Such a sweet horse. Justice well you know Allie had him boarded with her trainer but now he is home with us. So now we have us 2 dogs, 2 kitty cats, 1 lovebird and 3 horses...It is a good thing we moved to the farm! See our new family member? Her name is Lilly and we rescued this little kitty. Poor thing would have died. Thankful for my aunt Wendy who tried to find the kitty a home and we just couldn't resist. Lilly had to go to the vet right away because she was running a fever, You see she had an upper resp-i-tory infection and need to medicine. The vet said she would have never survived outside. She is very healthy and happy now. We are thankful for her.

Tired and I have a full belly of Turkey.

Okay, I feel much better after my rest. Anyone up for a game of chase the ball?

Hi friends! Sorry it has been way to long but we have been so busy. We have moved to our new house with 5 acres to run free...well all but the fence to stop us. We do have cows as neighbors and Baylee just barks at them like they are some sort of alien or something like that but me I am cool with them as long as they stay on their side of the fence. We have a 1/4 acre pond with fishies. I am telling you we have so much fun and we loved the new house right away and was happy from the first day we stepped our doggie paws in the door! I will post pictures soon but mommy has been so busy tearing our new house up and I don't understand her. She has been ripping walls down but daddy builds new ones. She has been painting and well actually takes time out to play ball with me a few times a day. My parents have been working very hard getting the barn ready for horse-e Justice to come home. They have been looking hard to find him a friend first because he is very social and loves his friends, hey I will be his friend but mommy won't let me stay outide in the pasture with him all night cause I am sure she would miss me and Baylee well she would probably jump the fence and have a steak dinner the way she looks at them cows! I HAVE MISSED ALL OF YOU SO MUCH! I am sorry that I have not been around and I paw-a-jize. xoxoxoxoxo love Sami

Hi Friends! I have good news! We have sold our house and will be moving in a few weeks! Only a few miles from where we live now but from 1/2 acres to 5 acres with a pond. We are so excited and wanted to share the good news with my favorite friends! Mom has been so busy packing boxes and even some of my toys, can you believe packing my toys so early? I hope I like the new place but I am a little nervous. I will keep you updated! xoxoxo Sami

Today is my 4th barkday and I got lots of fun pressies. I got 3 squeaky tennis balls, a jolly ball and a pink octopus toy. I love them all. The best part is mommy is making my favorite foodies for din din, Pork tenderloin with mac and cheese. Hi friends, Baylee here. We have been so busy as usual. This selling the house thing takes a lot of our time and we have shown it so much. I don't mind cause we all get to go for a ride to the barn to have lots of fun. Mommy says she is so tired of cleaning since the house has to be oh so clean and have fresh flowers and cookies made each time we show the house. Soon she promises us we will have lots of land to run and play on. We are so excited and can't wait! Plus w e will get to bring Justice, our horse to live with us. That has been what has kept us from blogging and we do miss you all so terribly.

Today we got a yummy treat and it was fishy I tell you! Can you guess what we got? Salmon and boy was it delic... I was the first done.

I just got finished eating my salmon and I was hoping Cassie would see my sad face and leave me a little of hers. Do you think she will? She did, wasn't that so nice? I just love that kitty! She shares all the time with me!

We also celebrated Allie's 11th birthday April 1st! This is a picture of her cake. I will tell you it was yummy every last crumb!

Hi Friends! Guess what? Allie has been going to the barn a lot and Mommy takes me and lets me see all the horses. Baylee got to go last week but she barked and barked and wouldn't stop talking to the horses. Mom says she has to work on her manners before she can go back. We have other news we have listed our house for sell and we will be moving to a huge farm soon and mommy says that we we love it and get to explore lots of sniffies. Allie would like a pond and so would I so hopefully Mommy and Daddy will keep that in mind too. What else should I ask for? Some duckies to chase? Chickens? Oh, I love chicken nuggets...mmmmmm

Mommy has packed a lot of our stuff and put in storage and silly mom cannot find her charger to charge her camera. So know pictures today, sorry friends. Mommy is being a slacker. Plus she seems to have caught Allie's cold and has been resting in bed all day but I got to rest beside her and I have been taking care of her.

Maybe now she will let me catch up on riding all my friends blogs.

Hi Friends I just wanted to let you know that we are all fine but have been very busy lately. You see my hoomans have decide to sell the house and buy a farm with a barn and Mom hasn't had anytime to blog at all. Hopefully soon as she gets the stuff done around the house and the house listed then she promises to let us catch up with our friends. She says Sunday is the day that our friend the realtor will be coming over to get the paperwork started to list our house. We are very excited about moving to a HUGE yard and we can't wait. We miss all you guys and will blog soon we promise. Oh by the way we have an ice storm and lots of snow and school was cancelled today and also tomorrow. Baylee loves the snow but me not so much and made dad shovel the deck before I would go potty this morning. Hee hee!

Finally my turn to blog, Baylee here! I couldn't wait to post this picture of Sami with her furry toy on her, doesn't she look so silly? I thought so. Look at hers eyes as the picture was taken looking like a green zombie monster! Hee hee!

Let me tell you Allie has been at the barn every day to ride her horse and I tell you we get know attention and no time to blog. It is so unfair! My hooman bother isn't feeling well, he might have a kidney stone so he has got to stay home from school for a few days but he seems to be better now. Mom has been so busy with so called work but she is just hogging the computer, right Sami? Well I am glad to get this time to blog and hopefully will get to tomorrow.

Making Christmas cookies and pressies

Cassie loved her toy and spent hours chasing the mouse that went around in circles. She even got a new food and water bowls.

Then we me, Allie and Casey moved on to the making of the yummy sugar cookies.

I don't mind being the taste tester and thought I had the best job. I hope all my friends had a happy Christmas like we did!

Allie ask me to post her video of her first show with Justice so all our friends can see it. They won 3 first place ribbons, 1 second and 2 metals. Awesome Allie and Justice!

Great news..Allie found her horse!

Hi friends! I just have to tell you about our new family member. He is a 8 year old Paint horse named, Justice. Allie has been riding him for over a week and he is a keeper! I guess Allie has started training on him. I heard that he loves to jump! I only jump when it is to catch a tennis ball and then I can jump very high. I wonder if Justice could catch a tennis ball??I ask if Justice could come live in the backyard, but mom says he has to stay at the barn until we get our own barn and farm size yard! Can you believe that, at the barn. Baylee and I can't live at he barn, just no fair. But really I love living in the cozy house with my family. Maybe, I will get to visit the barn soon.

Below is a video of Allie when she first rode Justice at Raintree Ranch to see if he was the one. I hear Mom say that these people are very nice at Raintree Ranch and she would highly recommend them to others who are looking for a horse. They just started selling hunter/jumper and showing horses.

Allie ask me to put this video of with her first riding in the arena with Justice. I have to say that Mom didn't do tell well on the video and it is kinda fuzzy.

I am also excited to tell you we have started receiving Christmas cards from you all my friends and my hoomans are so jealous that we get way more then they do..heehee Mom has been slacking again with us blogging and I sat her straight tonight and made her take our picture by the Christmas tree and get them printed out and mail our Christmas cards. I gave her Monday as the deadline to get them in the mail so you my friends won't think me and Baylee forgot you because that could never happen when you have awesome friends like you all! You're guys are the best!

Baylee reporting about news on the home front: Friends we are sorry to say that Bonnie the horse wasn't meant for Allie and we had to return her to find the owner she was meant to be with. Luckily the lady whom we bought Bonnie from gave us a 7 day trial to see if she was the right horse for Allie but sad to say she wasn't. Anyways we are hoping we find the horse that was meant for Allie so keep your paws crossed!

We have some sad news too.... a horse named Penny at the Tuscany Hollow Stables Barn where Allie takes lessons and rides went over to the Rainbow Bridge to join our loved ones who have passed. Penny who was a 32 year old Quarter horse passed away peacefully in her sleep. Penny was a rescued horse that was abused but luckily found a loving and caring home at Tuscany Hollow stables around 15 years ago with her devoted owner Mandy.

News on the home front.....Allie got a horse!

Today was rather exciting, we have a new family member. Her name is Bonnie and she is a 10 year old Thoroughbred horse. This is an early Christmas present. I wonder if me and Baylee get an early present, huh? Mom if your reading this then a early present.

Bonnie gets to come to her new home this Friday. She won't be with us till we move but she will be at a very large barn with other horses but we will get to see her, hopefully soon, right mommy? The pictures were taken today at her current home. So you can see lots of excitement here!

Mom finally let me blog, thank you so much mommy! I am posting pictures of us in the Jeep while we traveled to Western Kentucky to visit our grandparents.

Me and Cassie got to seat with Allie and Dale. It was so much fun!

Daddy talking on the phone while traveling, of course he heard it from Mommy. Mommy doesn't like when he talks and drives.

Okay, Allie gave me some attention between reading her book and listening to her ipod.

I got the most attention from my new sis, Cassie.

Cassie and I are very good pals. I think she thinks I am her mamma.

She kept trying to clean me and give me kisses.

Baylee was lucky and got the back all to herself and like to tease me about how she got more room then me. I told her I was fine cuz I was by Cassie.

I was very clean when we arrived at our grandparents, Cassie made sure I looked my best!

I am so happy to be back blogging cuz I sure missed all my friends!

I was given the letter R by Lorenza. I am supposed to list 10 things that I love that start with the letter R. I have to make a combination of words in English and Spanish to complete my list

1. Rubber Tennis Balls-- I love to have them in my mouth, throw me one and I will happily
chase it!
2. Rabbits- I love to chase them.
3. Rocks- although mommy takes them away from me when I find one in the backyard
4. Rain I love to play in the rain
5. Run I love to run very fast
6. Ride I love car rides
7. roast beef-- oh it is droolicious

New Family Member, Cassie..the Cat

Mommy, Dale and Allie went to Petsmart without me, can you believe that, visiting a pet store with out taking the pets? I am confused. Then they came home with a new friend for us. Her name is Cassie and she is a 12 week old kitten. Woodstock Animal Rescue saved her and we made her apart of our family. Mom says she is Dale's kitty but we will all get to love her. In the pictures she in brother Dale's room. Mom took the pictures because I have only been able to see her once. I was told she has to get use to her new environment and she will be introduced to us slowly, not fair. I promised Mommy we would give her lots of love and stay calm but she still won't let us play with her.

This is brother Dale and all he wanted was to rescue a kitty for his 17th birthday. Of course his birthday isn't till November 6 but he spotted this kitty in need of a home and couldn't stop talking about her to mom.

I hear she is very playful and energetic so I am sure Casie and I will have lots of fun together and I can't wait till Mommy lets us play with her. Does any of my friends have kitties? xoxox Sami

Don't let the wagging tail fool you or the cute loveable face. Very fast and will run circles around you. If you see her don't be fooled, pee mail me Baylee. I will catch her.

Reward: 1 big fat tastey chicken with juicy legs. Please help us stop this shoe bandit!

Hi Friends, What heartworm prevention do you use?

I am feeling better today and ate some chicken and a piece of ham it was yummy. My was so happy and she said I was such a good girl! Last night after she gave me my medicine she was worried cause burbed up a little so she called the Dr today and they said to me 1/2 dose of the Panacur, that yulky white medicine that is the most nasty stuff I have ever tasted but I took it like a good girl but I sure let her know that it tasted nasty with the face I made after she squirted it down my throat. I have even played today and has mommy throw my tennis ball a few times in the house. My says that I no longer can play with my balls outside because if it is true I have whipworm then it lives for 5+ years in the soil, so it is very important that all poop does not stay in the yard and she will be right behind us with a plastic baggie every time, like I won't get no privacy at all, usually she picks up every few days but not now she says. I never poop on my walkies or at other places I go, only in my back yard. Okay I may be strange but even when I visited my Grandmas I will wait for days till I get back in my yard, oh how I love my yard where nobody can see my booty due it's business! Hee hee booty business, hardy har!

Tomorrow is clean the back yard and mommy is getting rid of all our backyard toys but not to worry she say and promised to buy me new toys. She order us new shoes that we will wear outside and anytime we go out of the house. Below is the picture of them:

They are Ruff Wear Bark' n Boots. She got them at Backyard K-9 She got Baylee a pair too, in the pretty red. Baylee is getting poop inspection done too just to make sure she isn't getting sick. I can't wait to get them cause Mommy won't let me go for walkies until I have them and then germ-e's won't get on my paws and in my mouth when I lick my paws! Great thinking mommy. I wish they had the shoes in pretty pink color. Now that would be stylish, huh?

Friend I need to know what kind of Heartworm prevention are you on? I am on Wormshield which protects from heartworms along with hook and roundworms. This is what my doggie Dr. prescribes but Mommy has done research and she found 2 different kinds. The first is Intercepor, which protects against the same worms but also whipworm and then the other is Sentinel which also protects against the same worms as Interceptor but also has added flea protection. Do any of you guys have experience with any of these heartworm prevention medications? Mommy is so concerned that if I do have whipworms that they are very hard to get rid of because re -infestation is so easy since the worm eggs survive in the ground for 5+ years. So friends I am asking you to let me know if you have any experience with these medications? I am a golden and love to chase and put things in my mouth and now mommy says no playing with my toys outside but I think she would let me if I am protected against those nasty whipworms! I am feeling better today..

Hi friends! Sorry I haven't been blogging lately but I have been sick. I went to the doggie doctor yesterday. Mom was worried I wasn't eating and I had the poops. I lost 4 pounds since 3 months ago when I had my 6 month check up. The doctor is blaming it on the time I went to the doggie park Tom Sawyer because she has seen a lot of dogies getting sick from park. Mommy told her she only took me once and after the giardia scare she would not let me go back. After the trip to the park she took me to the dr. then cause I had the poops afterwards,but then I was treated for a bacteria infection. Oh, I really liked that park too. The doctor said she doesn't take her doggies to the doggie park ever. The park seemed nice and well keep. Hoomans cleaned up after their doggies and members only to get with security code to .I guess no place is safe from those cootie worm eggs. Mommy says she will just have to get us slippers that we where only outside and no shoes allowed inside the house. See all the medicine I have to take but mommy hasn't gave me the 2 of the meds cause they are for an upset tummy and I have ate something today so she says as long as I eat I don't have to take them. Well enough about the park. The doctor came to the conclusion I might have whip worm cause she seen a lot of cases from the park. It appears this meanie of a worm is hard to find and wasn't to be found anywhere in my poop.

Well the doctor did find anything in my poop but still insisted I take all this medicine. Panacur for 3 days and again 3 weeks from now and then again 3months from now, along with Metronidazole 2x daily and then more pills to make my stomach feel better so I can eat. I really hate that Panacur and try to spit it out...yulky...

Mommy gets upset when she gets a big bill and they didn't find anything in my poop but give me medicines for so call worms. She says, I am feeling better so that must be the problem. I am happy yo report Baylee is fine and still eats like a horse..sorry Baylee it is true.

So friends please be careful when you go to parks or other places other doggies have left their poop behind. Wash your paws afterwards and don't eat the dirt...I don't eat dirt but my balls roll around in it. No place safe for us doggies...the doggie doctor agreed but she also told Mommy what fun is it if a dog can't be a dog. Any suggestions on this matter? Please tell my mommy where she can find some comfy and stylish doggie shoes for us? xoxoxo Sami

This weekend was so boring. Mom & Dad were busy running Allie around this weekend that we hardily saw them. It started Saturday with Games Day where Allie rides horses then they came home to feed us Din Dins and then had to rush out to Allie's baseball game which we git hit in the arm while she was up to date. They should have took me cause I would have caught that ball before it hit my Allie's arm. Not to worry she is fine. Sunday morning they left to take Allie to first Dressage show which we just got done watching as a family. I wanted to share it with my friends.

This was her very first Dressage test. She is getting ready for her first Event competition at Lexington Horse Park next month. She is so excited and I am hoping she will take me because they allow dogs! Oh, please Mommy can I go?? Now you can see why I was so bored all weekend! Kisses, Sami

I though I would show you the lovely letter. Amber-Mae your an artist too? Mommy was impressed with how well you drawled the gifts. Very talented she says and I have to agree.

Allie just loves her flower and was so excited because look at her shirt she had on today, it matches! Allie loves flowers, how did you know?
Baylee likes the flower too and tried to get Allie's flower...but Allie says Mine and wouldn't give it to Baylee. I knew we had something good in our package when the mailman didn't want to hand it over. He wouldn't let mommy open the door cause Baylee was growling at him and the mailman held the door and would let mommy open it. Mommy told him that we are friendly and won't bit but he said he wasn't taking any chances and only slide the paper through the door so mommy could sign for the package and instructed her not to open it to get the package until he was gone and even held the door so mommy couldn't open it till she agreed. I think he wanted to keep are pressies, don't you Amber-Mae? I just know he smelled those yummy chicken treats

Mom come look the wind is blowing so hard and our favorite tree that Baylee loves to chew the branches on is coming out of the ground. Come look quick!

Our tree came up out of the ground but Mommy and Daddy tried to save it, the roots weren't broken so they lifted it back up and staked it down and we have our paws crossed that it will survive. We lost power Sunday morning and it didn't come on till for a whole week, can you believe that, no power to blog but Daddy did hook up the DSL internet and computers for an hour each day to a Power Inverter that he hocked to the Honda Car battery but Mommy had to do work and wouldn't let us blog since she didn't have much time,. The first night was fun cause Mommy grilled as much food as she could on the grill and we had a feast then we had to throw all the rest away. We mostly got take out food from restaurant that still had power but over 300,000 people were out of power and ice was sold out everywhere. After the strong winds Mommy, Dale and me went out to look at the damage and saw lots of trees down in the neighborhood.

The wind just tore this tree in half. This is our worst storm, ever.

Mommy was sad about all the trees that were lost in the storm and was very sad when she saw that our tree went down. That was how bad the storm was. I was scared but Baylee was brave.

Sami Reporting on some exciting news here at the home front.

We have some exciting news to share about our brother, Dale. He has been selected as one of the candidates for the KY Governor's Scholar. He will know if he receives it towards the end of the school year so keep your paws crossed. Only a select few are chosen from each school. If he gets it, he will go away to college for 5 weeks this summer to participate in the program before starting his senior year. He is on cloud nine right now and has been talking about colleges all month long. His top choices are MIT - John Hopkins, Duke, Stanford then Uof L He is targeting a school that has a top BME ( Biomedical Engineering ) Mom and we prefer one close to home :) but it is his future and his choice mom says. Well he has to get accept. He has some really hard to get in schools on his list. He is taking the PSAT in Oct. along with the ACT. So wish him luck! Woof Woof!

My hooman brother, Dale doing his homework. Lets just see what kind of work he is doing. Dale is in the 11th grade and is almost 17 and keeps talking about college, not sure what he will do at college but he is excited. Mom said he won't be able to take doggies, what will I do without him?

Sami and I haven't been able to post pictures for a few days since blogger kept giving us an error but today I was able to upload some. The above picture is of Hank the horse and My Aunt Wendy. See how Hank just loves her? I know why she just loves animals.

Let me introduce you to my cousin Kyle. Kyle is 17 and very fun to play with.

Kyle and my sis Allie riding the horses. See how Allie is seating with her legs so high, well she just got done racing like a jockey. She loves to go super fast on Bandit. Faster then I can run.This is my cousin Emily. Emily is 11 and is riding Ben. Ben is a very sweet horse. He is a Polo Horse for University of Louisille.

This is my grandma, the lady in the light green shirt. She shares lots of yummy foodies with me.

These are 2 of our doggie friends at the barn. The black doggie is Todd and the other is Jack. They both love to chase balls like Sami.

Todd is a very awesome jumper. He loves jumping the jumps but also the fence too. Doesn't he jump high? I call him super jumper Todd.

I wanted to share my Allie's poem she wrote. It was chosen to be published in. "A Celebration of Young Poets." I have to say, I am so proud of her and wanted to share with my blogging buddies. Allie also won a state award for a book she wrote too, "I Wonder Why Dragons Breathe Fire." The book which she entered in the PTA Reflections contest, she won local and regional and got an award at State. I wonder if she will write a book about a pretty golden retriever and a funny Saint Bernard?

Today, I did my favorite thing and that was rest. I didn't want to go outside much today since it was one of the hottest days of the year here in Kentucky. So what could be better then just taking it easy? A big girl like me needs her beauty rest on a comfy bed.

Oh, I hope Mommy doesn't see me she will make me go lay on my bed.

I hear Mommy coming I had better get up...but I wasn't fast enough and she caught me. But today must have been my lucky day cause my Mommy said I could stay.

Why, I ask. Well it appears mommy got smart, sorry mommy but you could have thought about this earlier. You see she put a top sheet over her bedding so that I could stay. I love you Mommy your the best! Oh, that sure made my day and I got lots of beauty rest and ready to chow down on my kong for the contest, yea baby!

Today, I heard my most favorite words, "you want to go for a ride Sami?" I turned my head back and fourth saying are you kidding you know I love rides. I then got all excited when I heard the jingle of my collar and I knew she was serious. I was in such a hurry to go I made mommy forget her camera so we didn't get pictures. First we went to UPS store since mommy had to mail overnight docs for her work. Then off to Petsmart her, me and Allie went. Mommy headed back to my vet to get me and Baylee our heart worm pills while Allie took me to look at the hamsters and guinea pigs. Oh it was so much fun. Allie showed me these baby kitties that were looking for a home and Allie begged her for one but mommy just said, no not now until we get a farm. You see mommy has allergies to kitties and she is afraid to get one right now because she would fall in love with it and it would break her heart to have to get rid of it cause her eyes get puffy and swollen so she says once we get a farm we can have a barn were it can stay if it didn't work out in the house. Poor mommy....anyways what would us 2 doggies do with a kitty? Hum, we could play chase the kitty or bitty the kitties tail..hee hee.. Okay after Petsmart we went to Feeder Supply to get me a bath and groomed. It was fun but I did try to bite the blow dryer hose cuz I didn't like that thing, not one bit! Mommy saved the best for last, we went to Graters for ice cream. She got me a scoop of yummy vanilla. I give Graters 4 paws up cuz it was so yummy and the lady there was so nice. You see we were sitting outside and she came out with a spoonful of vanilla ice cream just for me not knowing mommy got me my very own scoop so I got extra! Thanks you nice lady at Graters. Oh, she even said I was just the prettiest dog, who could argue!

Okay we are back at home now and I am checking out the goodies we got. Baylee didn't get to go since she doesn't do very well getting a bath out so we bought her home the biggest drooliest bully stick. You see it is missing from the pictures? Mommy felt so bad that she didn't get to go that she couldn't wait to give it to her. I didn't get one cause Mommy said I got to go and get ice cream. See me checking out the goodies?
Baylee had to come check out the goodies too. See the bag of doggie food? Funny thing is it is the only kind Baylee likes and it is for Golden Retrievers...I think she thinks she is one just like me. Anyways She turns her nose up at any other Royal Canine dog food, even the one for Skin and joint support which she really needs since she has big joints! Oh well, you know I have food dog allergies and the vet had me try so many and well Royal Canine is the only kind I can eat but I mostly eat dinners with my hoomans so I get lots of yummy meats. Baylee does too so maybe that is why she is picky with the dog food she eats but Mommy says it isn't fair that I get yummy hooman food and she doesn't! I have a reason Mommy I get skin itchies and Baylee gets hooman food too, not fair I tell you!

OH, Amber-Mae & Faya Mommy got us our first Kongs at Petsmart as you can see in the picture us checking them out. Hum something smells yummy about these. Baylee do you smell what I smell?

Look Mommy stuff them with treats already. Yummy vanilla wafers. Lucky us!

Oh boy, yummy lets eat them Sami! Baylee the ball is mine cause I love balls and Mommy got you the extra large kong, don't you just love them? Thank You, Thank You Mommy now we can participate in the I love my Kong contest! We can't wait, mommy get the camera now, please?

This is our view as we only got to watch through the glass of the front door. Dad teaching Allie how to ride the big red machine. Me & Baylee didn't get to ride cause dad said we alread help out a lot by fertilizing the lawn with our poop. You know it is hard job dad someone has to do it and I am pretty sure if you did it then the neighbors would have something to say about that. We did have fun watching.

Baylee here and I just had to let you know about how silly Sami was being today with an orange, yelp that's right an orange. I think she thought it was a orange ball. Look at her such a silly doggie, Sami that isn't a ball.
What are you talking about Baylee? It is round and orange and rolls it must be a ball.Inspector Baylee here, Sami it smells like an Orange but it does roll like a ball. Hum let me see if it is tastey? Yelp it's an Orange.
Hey hooman brother Dale give us back our ball! Dale just teased us and kept saying we were silly dogs. Let me me set the record straight, Sami is the silly doggie who told me this orange was a ball. I have video of her being silly with the orange, see below the proof:

Sami was being so crazy with the orange, she tossed it and it hit mommy. Mommy just laughed not sure why getting hit by an orange is funny. See how Sami was totally not sharing the orange? Selfish I tell you and she talks about how Allie wasn't sharing her blue ball of yarn and now she isn't letting me get a chance to play with the Orange!

Sorry friends for not posting in a while but it is all Mommy's fault. Yelp, that's right Mommy you heard me. Mom, Dad and Allie left us for 3 days to go to Lexington and they left my hooman brother to doggie sit us but he is cool and we had lots of fun with him! The reason is Allie made it to the state pageant and she was so excited to go. I know she missed us cuz Mommy said the second day away she broke down in tears and said she missed her doggies and wanted to go home. Of course, I wanted her to stay and to show off her pretty dress so she did. She came home with a finalist trophy and was sad cause she wasn't selected as Queen. Baylee and I gave her lots of kisses to make her feel better. Mommy explained that most of those girls did pageant after pageant and were there to win and this was her first and she did very well. Allie did get selected to start modeling for a company called Cosmo so isn't that great? Now she can buy me and Baylee of course, lots more toys and treats, right Allie? Please say yes!

Noodle Attack

Baylee here and it is my turn to blog so I want to share my experience with the spaghetti noodle. I was determined to get that silly squirmy noodle Allie was holding, see how hard I am concentrating? While baby it was mine and I got it all right! It went right in my yummy yummy tummy and boy was it good!

I am so excited! Guess where I got to go today? I got to go to Allie's Horse Camp show, my first show with her. Baylee got to stay with daddy for a bath but she got extra specials she says, but think she is jealous! Baylee likes to bark and bark at the horses and I think she scares them so that is probably why she couldn't go today.
See how I am concentrating so hard? I can't take my eyes off Allie and I watch her every move.

I kinda got worried about her jumping these big barrels and started to whine and tried to pull mommy so we could go make sure she was okay.

Okay Mommy calmed me down and I was more at ease and we got to take some more pictures.

I got to jump these jumps last time I was at the barn with Allie and I am a good jumper, Allie said so herself. Of course Allie wasn't on my back like she is with Bandit the pony.

This is a quick video of Allie jumping the barrels, see why I was so nervous? Mom was to I think since she was worried that Bandit just got back to the barn and has been out of the jumping for several months. Mom says Allie worked him out all week while she was at the barn for camp. I also heard Allie say that Bandit was being so stubborn and refused several times with the barrels but Mandy, Allie's trainer said that Allie was more stubborn then Bandit and made him listen, you go Allie, that's my Allie girl, isn't she the best?

I had the most yummiest Cheese Cake ever...yes Mommy it was your best cheese cake you have made but where is the whip cream? I got to eat my cake before dinner, yelp sure did!

My dinner was a few of my favorites, Mac & lots of cheese, chicken and some roasted pork tenderloin. I ate every yummy morsel.My new barkday stuffie but I loved the paper the most!
I couldn't wait to start to break my new stuffie in! Hee hee!

Hello friends tomorrow is Sami Barkday and she will be 3 and we are having a surprise PAWTY for her. Mommy spent the day baking a cheese cake...and she wouldn't let me sample it to make sure it taste yummy for tomorrow so not fair, not at all! We got Sami a build-a-bear cause she loves Mommy and sleeps on it but it is a big secret so don't tell her! She is busy snoozing now so she won't see this blog till tomorrow! So HAPPY BARKDAY SAMI! Our day was off to a great start when I heard mom say, "you wanna go for a ride?" Duh, lets go mom. When she pulled into the Petsmart parking lot I was all excited because we could shop. But mommy tricked us and had previously made plans with our doggie doctor to get us our teeth cleaned and annual shots and all that not so fun stuff. Mommy had to drop us off and leave us all day, of course I know mommy doesn't like to leave us and I heard her tell the doggie nurse that she would like to put us up ASAP whatever that means, but I am sure it means right away cuz she needs us to look after her. Then the doggie doctor said that we had to take us a nap-e-poo, Okay I thought but it better be quick! Then we woke up and mommy was here but we were both still so sleepy but very happy to see mommy and Allie. The doggie doctor told mommy that we are in perfect health!

Allie was holding me while the doggie doctor came in to tell mommy how our torture day went! I am so glad my Allie is here. I was looking at the door hoping she would hurry up and bring my sister Baylee. I just needed to make sure she was okay and talk to her about the torture and how mommy tricked us.

Us so ready to go and get home. See Baylee in her gentle leader collar? When she wears it she walks so nicely. See the bandages on our leggies? This is were the meanies stuck us to give us our nap-e-poos while they cleaned our teeth, not nice huh? Not at all!

Come on Allie lets just go!

Come on mommy, what are you waiting for? Why are you paying them money when all they did was give us shots and give us a nap-e-poo? Not worth it I tell you so lets just take that money and get some tennis balls and bully sticks! Come Mommy, good mommy!

See my leg? They shaved my pretty fur and now I have a bald spot, the nerve!

They even did the same thing to Baylee, look she has freckles on her skin. She has pretty skin, do you think mommy should shave her? Oh Bayee don't worry I was just joking trying to get you to smile.

What will all the other doggies think when they see us?

Mommy felt so bad so she gave us a new toy when we got home, see mine? I will take it now mommy, thank you!

Look at poor tired Baylee, she was to tired to play with her new toy! Poor thing! I hope we don't have to go back to that place anytime soon or at all for that matter! We are just so glad to be back home, sweet home, right Baylee? That's right Sami!

UPDATE on Uncle Chris, he is still in critcial condition but doing lots better. He lost like 40 units of blood during surgury and the nurse says he is a miracle. He will be in the hospital for atleast 2 more months and has a long recovery ahead of him. We would like to say thank you to all our friends for the prayers, they help cause he is getting better! THANK YOU!

UPDATE: Thank you for all the prayers for my hooman Uncle Chris, he is still in critical condition and lost a lot of blood but they removed his Kidney and Speen and have him in a sleep induced coma so that he gets plenty of rest and is able to heal. I will keep you updated but we have faith that he will pull through! Thank you for keeping him in your prayers!

Baylee here to say a few words to my friends! Life has been good with the exception of my stinky daddy had to leave me for a week to go away for work in Cleveland Ohio then in Michigan. Doesn't he know that I am so sad when he is away? Mom says I just get mopey and clingy but what do you expect when your master is gone! The good news he will be home Friday. In the meantime cousin Katie is down and I just love her and insist that she pet me all day long. I will try to have Mom take a picture tomorrow of me with her.

It's my turn to blog since Sami has been a lazy girl lately. First off I want to say she is much better and getting her appetite back since she had the bacterial thingy. Mom was being poop inspector and said that mine looked a little runny...no privacy I tell you Mom haven't you seen poop before, geez. So next thing I know she has me in the jeep off to the Vet but luckily they didn't find anything wrong with me and still gave me the same meds as Sami and Mommy a huge bill ( that is what she gets for being poop inspector ). My question is why do I need to take that yucky medicine if nothing is wrong with me? Huh, explain that one! I am feeling fine.

Thought I would post a picture of Sami so you know she is doing good, see she still is guarding her ball so I don't get it. I tell you she is so silly cuz I don't care about that ball, maybe a steak or treat she might have something to worry about! Heehee! Goodnight my friends. ONE more word,

Friends say a little prayer for my hooman Uncle Chris, he was in 4-wheeler wreck and having surgery tonight to remove a kidney and his spleen . He has gotten an infection and has 4 surgeons working on him tonight. He need lots of prayers tonight since he isn't in good condition. He is always bringing stray animals home to love and make sure they are taken care off. Him, his wife ( Mommy's sister) and 2 kids ( my cousins) have adopted 4 cats and 2 doggies and 1 birdie.

1) What was I doing 10 years ago? Oh Boy, hum hard one since I am only 2 so I must have been waiting to be born so I can get the family I have now!
2) What are the five things on my to do list today? Eat Din Dins, Get Allie to give me lots of cookies by looking oh so sweet, show Sami who is boss, oh wait better scratch that one till she feels better so I guess I will sun bake on my lookout point on the deck, catch some zzz’s and finally demand lots of pettings and have my family scratch my back.
3) Snacks I enjoy. Nutter Butter Cookies, bacon & cheese treat mommy makes me, oh ice cream and bully sticks.
4) Things I would do if I were a billionaire. I would get a big farm with lots of birds and ducks for me & Sami to chase, get me my own king size bed like mommy and daddy have and only let them on it when I say it is okay. Stock the pantry full of Nutter butters, bully sticks, and get me my own personal back scratcher and who would also massage me anytime I demand!

5) Three of my bad habits. Jumping on the fence and barking at the neighbors, barking at anyone who I see walk by my house and well just plopping down just anywhere I want to even if someone is in my way because I will lay right on top of them!

6) Five places I have lived. I was born in Tennessee and my now and only family picked me up at 6 weeks and too me to my new home with them to stay forevere oh that home is in Kentucky I only have live at 2 places.

7) Five jobs I have had- sleep, guard the house, protect my family and that includes Sami, yelp that’s right, you may not know this but Sami is a big scardy cat, Patrol the back yard for little creatures and collect all big rocks and finally I have to make sure to eat all mine din dins along with ALL left over to show mommy how great of a cook she is!

Barkday for Baylee..ducks for Sami?

Baylee's blog day! I decided to blog since Mommy had to take Sami to the Vet today and I'm so bored and missing her so much. Don't worry she is okay. It's just that the new dog park Mommy took Sami to last week had a dog there with giardia and mom is a worry wart! Sami is Vaccinated against giardia too but she just wants to make sure. Plus the vet said there is always a slight chance even when you have gotten the vaccination. She didn't take me yet!

I didn't get to go to that park since I scare other doggies and people with my loud bark and me being a GIANT and all plus she says I need to still work on my manners, which I totally disagree with her! I guess I will be next at the Vet depending what Mom finds out!

Update: Sami just home and she doesn't have giardia but does have a bacterial infection in her large bowel.( Colitis & Enteritis is the Diagnosis) that is going around this area. She was put on antibotics and got a shot of antibotics and DR. said all her blood work is great and all other labs came back normal but Mommy told Daddy that if i get runny poops then I have to go into the vet too. Sami had the poops...and gas too phew Sami! Mom said we will have to give her lots of extra luv and take care of her!

Hi! Baylee here long time since I wrote in the blog, I know...just been kinda lazy lately you know how us Saints can be, huh? The big news is I turned 2 May 20th. Not sure what me being 2 means but I sure like the big deal the hoomans make out of the number two. I could go for turning 2 every day if it means I get strawberry cake..yummz. I was treated like the queen of the house all day!

I got lots of pressies....I told you Sami would be so jealous and sure enough she nibbled on my barkday bonz but I let her seeing that it was so HUGE and all. When Mom opened the package a piece on the bone feel off but I guess that could be Sami's piece.

Sami was all excited barking at the window and door. She kept running from the window to the door and Mom was like what is up. So Mom went to look and there were 2 ducks in our front yard and before she could snap the picture they went on there way and she got them from a distance. Sami was beggin Mom to let her chase them nope mom wouldn't let her out the door! So unfair I say! Sami is fast and she would have caught us one of those duckies for din dins!

Mom caught Sami being sneaky in this video. The other day we got in trouble for digging in the flower bed. We heard a birdie chirping and we were trying to rescue it. Honest Mom we just want to save the poor little birdie but Mom didn't believe us and I guess Sami wanted to check to see if she could get back in the flower bird and hunt for the birdie. Mom even heard it chirping but even she couldn't see it. She said it must have been hiding behind one of the landscape bricks in the corner. Gosh Mommy you just need to dig and dig a giant hole like we did before she yelled at us to get out of the flower bed!

Sami's Saturday Adventures

My Saturday adventure. Baylee couldn't come just yet since Mom says she needs to work on her manners. Baylee is very protective when she goes out with Allie and tends to scare people and doggies too. It really isn't her fault that she is so big and thus people are scared easily of her and then she likes to bark at them like she is about to attack them. I have well manners .

First we started off at the doggie park. This is the entrance.

Oh, and look the fire hydrant looks like my friend Faith's fur! Faith is a very boot-i-full Dalmatian. In fact she is the most boot-i-full one I have ever seen.

I saw, played and had a blast in the water and even had a drink or two.

I walked for hours and hours with such excitement.

I tired myself out walking so much and my tongue would just hang out of my mouth.

So little time and so many sniffies to sniff.

I even made a new friend but I was to busy sniffing him to ask his name.

I drooled from so much excitement!

I was brave enough to sniff the woods. I saw no strange creatures but I sure smelled them and it sent me on a wild hunt to find them. But they hid really good because I never saw them. Just too sneaky I tell you!

Then Allie found this cool looking dog house that was big enough to fit her and me too. Wow, Mom can we have one of these? I sure like it!
Okay Allie, I got to get back to sniffing out those hidden creatures. I will find you even if I have to come back every day until I do!
Come out, come out where ever you are.....but no creatures came out. I tell you....big scaredy cats.

Oh, please I just want to sniff you... Hee hee...

The hunt is one but still no creatures to be seen. I tried to get Allie to help but she thought we were playing follow the leader.

Wait...what is this? Dogs, maybe they will help me find these sneaky hidden creatures.

See the video there is a dalmatian but with brown spots and not black ones. I have never seen a brown spotted dalmatian before...maybe it is one of those hidden creatures to come out and want to play? Nope they came to see if they could help. Mom made sister Allie stay by her since she heard one of the doggies growl. But that doggie was just telling her that this is a mission for dogies only and hoomans should not be around when we do find those hidden creatures so Mommy told Allie to let us go on our hunt by ourselves. Thank you Mommy!

But we still didn't find any creatures, only sniffies they left behind. Then, my friends had to go so it was up to me to find them all by myself. I was sniffing so good that Mommy thought I was playing hiding seek. Hee hee...

and wait I think I see one...oh it's a bird..,but the bird was to fast and got away from me. I love the chase!

Then Mom said it was time to leave . No creatures today but I will come back soon.

I am in the jeep and we have arrived at our next adventure...Feeders Supply to get some treats and a new toy.

Hey, was this a trick? Mom took me straight back to the dog bath area and gave me a bath. So unfair to trick me like this, Mom!

Mom said if I was a good girl that I could shop after my bath. I was so good that they didn't even finish blow drying my fur all they way, since I don't like it at all. Mom said to pick out a toy for Sista Baylee since she didn't get to come so I picked out her a pork rawhide bone, a soccer ball and bully stick. Really the ball was for me..hee..hee but I didn't tell Mommy.
I just love to shop...well maybe I should say I love to sniff all the stuff in the pet store. I have trouble picking out toys since I just want to sniff. Allie picked me out one of those chuck-it things that throw your balls really far..she just knows I love those. Thank you Allie.

Allie tried to help me find a toy but I just wanted to sniff. Well that was my Saturday Adventure and no I am gonna take a nap since I am so exhausted. Mom when can I go again? Please tomorrow?

The new water bowl...not sure about it....

Mango we had a force field here too. The new water bowl has a force field keeping us away.

Mom was able to get me to break the force field by putting my bowl in the water, Mom that makes me so mad! She though she was being Oh, So clever...silly Mom and shame on me cause I couldn't resist. So unfair I tell you.

This was Allie's first time going to Rolex and she wasn't sure if she could take me since I am a doggie but come to find out doggies can go and next year Mommy and Allie promised I could go with them. Allie ask me to share some pictures of her day on my bloggie, of course I will cuz she will give me a juicy treat, right Allie?

Do you think that Allie and her friends were excited about being at Rolex? That is all she talked about when she got home. I had to steal her shoe to get her attention, sorry Allie but a dogs got to do what a dogs got to do to get attention! Am, I right fellow friends?

Allie want me to share her favorite all time rider and sport pony at Rolex. This is Karen O'Connor on famous Teddy. Teddy is the first sport pony to run with the big boys and has won Olympic medals and Rolex a few times.

The above picture is really why I posted Allie's Rolex photo's. She was donating money to help the homeless animals.

Ok, see this adorable fellow? She begged Mom to take him home but mommy said she would love too but we just can't have more doggies right now, whew that was close I already have to share my blog with Sami and all and I don't need any other dogs to look after right now. But luckily he was adopted that day and was going home to be with a lucky family. Now don't get me wrong I would like some more brothers and sisters but first I need a larger yard.

So that was a day at Rolex without me....but next year I will be there, oh yea!

I am getting sleepy so sleepy...

Me and Mom's special Teddy Bear. She says it is special since my hoomans got it for her and when you squeeze the bears hand and you can hear my hoomans saying, "I Love You." So I sneak up and steal her spot on the bed, hee hee...she calls me a spot stealer and gives me lots of pettings and massages and hugs.

I usually do this every night while she is getting ready for bed.

But tonight Moms was taking to long and I got tired.

Then I feel a sleep, oh boy does this bear make a good pillow..Goodnight friends...sweet dreams......Mommy will just have to sleep on my doggie bed tonight. Hee hee.. hardy har har...

New Doggie Spa products, circle around the tree and a word from Baylee

Mom went to the beauty supply place and bought home lots of doggies products to make us boo-t-ful. I am smelling the conditional and I am not sure because it smells good enough to eat! It is oatmeal conditioner.

Mom has some made by the same guy and assured me it will be good for our fur. She said it is a new product out and if you look really close on the bottles it says, "Cruelty Free" tested on Humans First! Mommy thought that was cool! She also got these wipes for our teefies and they aren't bad, have a peppermint taste. Way better then when she brushes our teefies!

Okay, but I want to play chase around the circle

Baylee here- Sami, I thought you wanted to play? Isn't this circle so neat that we made? It was so hard and took days to make this awesome circle. Come on girl, I will let you Chase me first!

Sami got so jealous that I got to go see the doggie doctor the other day but it wasn't all fun I told her. I had a hot spot under the skin of my lower lip and they had to shave my lower lip hair and gave me a not so fun shot. Then if they hadn't been mean enough they gave mommy some pills to give me not once but twice a day and some oopy gooey stuff to put on the side of it. Mommy tries to be slick about giving the pill and slide it in turkey but I am to smart and eat the turkey and spit the pill out and she has to give me another piece of turkey and then I take my pill. Silly mommy I get 2 pieces of turkey out of her every time! Heeheee Don't worry friend I am feeling all better and it is healing nicely mommy tells me!

Allie's 10th Birthday..WOOF..

Today was Allie's 10th Birthday and we had so much fun and ate lots of yummy things.

First..I wrapped Allie's presents from me and Baylee.

This wrapping is sure hard to do with just 2 paws! Hey....Baylee can I get a little help here? Of course Baylee was busy snoozing so I had to wrap the present all by myself.

I think I can do it by holding with my paw and pushing the ends together with my nose.

There....Okay, I got it... almost done!

This is making me so sleepy...wrapping presents takes a lot of work!

Sure was worth it when Allie opened our present. Do you think she liked it? It was a white gold necklace with a heart. It took such a long time surfing online stores trying to find just the right present for our Allie.

Mom Here-Sorry Sami, Allie wanted a doggie cake but they couldn't do one so she said a Kitty is would be want she wanted then.

Do you see the most yummy birthday dinner Allie wanted Mom to make for her special day? This is what we got too! Mom wouldn't let us have the bone in the baby back ribs, no fair Mom! I don't care for that green stuff they call asparagus Baylee sure likes it! Afterwards we got ice cream but no cake since Mom says we dogs can't have chocolate but the ice cream was so yummy so I am okay with not getting to eat cake.

Allie opening her presents...notice she puts the bow on the table and I sneak and get it! It is so pretty I just can't resist. Oh, Mom is learning to put you tubes in my blog and well it seems otherr peoples videos with the name Allie in them come up in the end after the movie plays, does anyone know how we can fix this so that only our videos display after the video finishes?

Sista Allie's Show

My Hooman sista Allie had her 1st show of the year. They were gone from 8:30 Am till 5:00 Pm and I missed them so much. Mom was complaining of her face being sunburned and how silly of her not to think the sun would burn her when they were just trying to stay in the sun to keep warm from the cold wild that was blowing like crazy. I gave her tons of kisses when she go home. Boy did I miss them!

I bet I could jump that jump above just like Allie and Lady the American Quarter horse.

Mom made this video so I could see some of Allie's show.

Sad Day friends Bella our Guinea Pig left us...

No pictures today, sorry! It has been a sad day today, our guinea pig, Bella who has been part of our family for 6 years went to heaven today. Baylee is taking it hard since her and Bella were buddies and Bella always got happy and excited when Baylee stuck her head into Bella's cage to say, "Hi."

I will miss the little fellow and the guinea pig food he used to share with us. Mom always would give me and Baylee a few nibbles when she feed him dinner. Mommy says that he will be happy in the sky and see his fellow guinea pigs and our bunny Lucky.( yeah Bella is a he but has a girl name since the hoomans were told he was a she but when they found out and they still kept his name and called him Bella Fella.)

We will just say a little prayer. Maybe he will get to say Hi and meet Herbie, Helios brother and Lucky our Bunny who left us a few years ago. Sad but Mom says they they will alway be in our hearts.

Oh, I am so embarrassed! Mom please don't take my picture in these silly rabbit ears. Mom finally convenienced me that I look adorable in them, so I let her take my picture just to make her happy! Baylee would not have anything to do with these rabbit ears and even barked at me while I had them on my head. She was laughing at me so hard that she was rolling on the floor. Listen Baylee I am just trying to make Mom happy!

Hurry up Mom and get the picture taken! You owe me big time and I want something yummy for Easter dinner tomorrow. Baylee won't be laughing tomorrow! Hee hee..... more like drooling when I get something yummy to eat. Well worth posing in these most ridiculous ears!

My Hooman Sis's trip to the Science Center

I wanted to post some pictures of my Allie on her school field trip. Mom got to go but not me since a no doggie rule so not fair! Allie got to go in a kinda like space ship.

I tried to get Baylee to use the treadmill but she said, "Nope no doggie doo doo cuz I'm happy with the way I look! She saw no need in exhausting herself and quickly laid down.

Wha Hoo...yippie....I just love this treadmill. I am trying to get a Woof-a-licious body!

This is such a awesome workout! How am I ever gonna convenience Baylee that she would love this? She thinks a workout is walking to her doggie bowl for dinner! I told her she might not fit into her stylish coats Mom got for her but she don't care!

Snow Snow and More Snow 12" of White Snow

I am trying to get the snow off me and it just keeps getting on my fur! Very irritating!

Hey, where are my legs? Help somebody I can't find them, do you see them? Wait, I think they are buried under this white stuff called snow. I will just have to hop like a bunny to get out of this snow! After a few hops I finally was able to run and run fast!

It rained most of the day today so Mom only let us go out a few times. Not fair! I have the most fun splashing in the rain puddles. She doesn't like when we track mudd in to the house..whatever..blah blah...It was rather boring today. So, I tried to get Baylee interested in playing ball with me and we had a little fun. Mom didn'thave her camera charged so below are some older pictures!

I wanted to share a picture of my hooman sista Allie. Allie is loves horses, but of course she loves us doggies better! This is a picture of a her at a show a few month ago when the weather was much nicer. We haven't been able to go to her shows yet since most farms don't allow dogs to come in. I don't understand that, we have a right to watch our sister! Doesn't she look like good? Yelp that's our Allie!

Allie is on Bandit the pony and they won 2nd place in the show. They were beat by a lady in her 40's. Allie was so mad and said that they should have only riders the same age in the competition!

If I were bigger then Allie could ride me and we would get 1st place, oh yeah!

Speaking of horses when Baylee was a pup my Allie put a doll saddle on her and tried to get her doll to ride on Baylee, what a silly girl! Thought my fellow doggie friends would like to see Baylee as a horsey!

Look at the cool stylish pink saddle. Pink is my favorite color. I know they say us dogs can't see colors but I prefer pink colored toys like my pink loofa doggie.

Hooman sis Allie with my sista Baylee, isn't Baylee tall. She has the biggest mouth I have ever seen. Man can she woof her food right down before I eat one bite. Slow down girl enjoy the flavor like me. I savor every morsel.

My Back Scratcher & Mom's Moon Cakes

Sista Allie is showing off the new Moon Cake Mold that Mom ordered in the mail for her. She was watching this TV Disney movie and saw these yummy looking moon cakes and wanted to try to make some. So Mommy ordered a Moon Cake Mold and is going to the store tomorrow to get the stuff to make them. I can't wait to try them too!

Oh how nice of the people who she ordered the Moon Cake mold gave her some Chop Sticks for my sista Allie and Brother too. And wait they even gave her something for me, guess what?

First Day of OB class I had so much FUN!

This is me and my Human sis Allie, her and mom tooks turns with me at my OB class. Mom did the first 30 minutes and Allie the last 30 minutes. Of course I listened to them both and I breezed right threw that class.

I was so excited I was the only dog drooling all over the mat. I drool and basically have all kinds of bubbles come out of my mouth. See my tongue hanging out? It was so hot for a winters day and plus the trainer said someone turned up the heat to 90 degrees! I think it was that little Jack Russle Terrier ..hehehe just kidding! He was such a friendily guy and wanted to jump all over me but I just kinda stayed my distance, if ya know what I mean!

See that cute pug? He was struting his stuff man I tell you! Of course he is the trainers prize winning dog. Hey...even I would sit if I saw the trainer lady coming my way. My trainer lady is in the picture in the white t-shirt. I liked her!

I am such a good listener and stayed! Come on give me something hardier! Mom said that I would probably have it easy in this class because I am already so smart and know a lot of the stuff but she said we have to work our way up to agility classes.

I know what you all are talking about now when you say those beginners, they were all over the place and acting all crazy but not me. Even the lady outside with a male golden who was waiting for her daughter said she doesn't like newbies...only because her dog was very nervous around other doggies. She said he was a rescued dog that guarded chicken coops..awww how sad..but I was so happy because she seemed to love him and had him since he was 1 and now is 2.

The trainer was big into giving treats as rewards but mommy was worried because I have no interest in treats when I am so excited but the trainer lady said that she could praise me, which she does anyways.

Let me tell you friends when we got home I woofed down that chicken meat treats she had made for me as soon as I got in the door. But of course...yeah... I had to share with Baylee since mom said it was only fair. Geez.....I did all the hard work for 1 hour while Baylee sit on her butt and was being lazy at home with dad. Some dogs have it easy. Hehe for now cuz I heard mom tell sista Allie that Baylee is going to start OB traing after I get this 7 weeks done.....heheheheee!

Okay, I got to go to my favorite place in the whole world, Petsmart and got to do some shopping.... I picked a few treats out!

All yeah if you all wondering what the black harness thigy is, well mommy makes me wear the stupid, not stylish thing when I ride in the Jeep to keep me safely in my seat belt so she says.

It is not like I am a wild dog or anything and won't even stick my head out the window like most dogs do! You know those windows go up and down out of know where like there is some magic button mommy has to control them and I am not having any part of that either. Do you stick your head out the window?

Maybe mommy will post more she tells me she has been very busy and well it has been storming here like crazy. So crazy the wind blew her patio table over and threw it up to the fence and glass shattered everywhere. Boy that was a mess and she wouldn't let us dogs go outside until she got it all cleaned up. Special Doggie bowl for me & Boo Bear aka Baylee

I wanted to share a picture of the new food bowls that the post man dropped off today! I don't think we would have got them from the UPS man. Since Baylee scared the jeepers out of him last delivery. We have a glass see through door and he can on the pouch to deliver the package and sista Baylee runs up and jumps on the door barking like she was gonna eat him and he backed away leaving the package on the edge of the steps. She would hurt a flea..just looks like she would! She is such a baby! Heheheehehe

Mommy said these were special bowls that she had made for us. As you can see she had them paint a golden retriever in mine with my name. I can't wait to eat dinner out of it tonight. I am thinking special bowls, special dinner? Maybe, some steak or chicken.heehehehe

Treat Recipe, Dog tennis and huggable Me!

Heehee, Baylee can't do this because she is to big! I guess there are some good being smaller then my lil sis Baylee the St. Bernard!

Do your humans make yummy treats for you? I bet they do so I talked mommy into sharing her yummy recipe with all my doggie friends. they were so droolicious!

Here is the recipe:

Bacon Chezzy Treats.....they are Bark-a-licious!

You need:

1 Cup of Oats

1/3 Cup melted unsalted butter ( salted is ok too but mommy tries not to use salt.)

1/2 Cup Chicken Broth

1 Cup Shredded Cheese

2-1/2 Cup Flour

2 Tablespoons of sugar

1/2 Cup Milk

1 egg

1/2 cup bacon pieces ( real bacon bits not the artificial kind, you can use real bacon too)Mommy used Hormel pre-cooked kind.

Here is Mommy to tell you how to make them:

Mix Oats, flour, cheese, sugar, bacon pieces in bowl, add melted butter, egg, Chicken Broth, Milk and mix. Add more flour if needed to make the mix more thicker. Add more broth if to thick. Then roll out about 1/8" thick or thicker if you would like. Use cookie cutters that you like. Keep in mind I find it easiest to use plain circles because they are harder to cut with bacon pieces. I used bone shaped in the one I made today. I also had to use block cheese I cut up since I didn't have shredded. The block cheddar cheese melted and oozed more but the doggie seemed to really liked them!

Bake at 350 degrees until brown and then turn over and cook till the other side is brown.

I try to bake them as long as possible to get them crunchy. They will stay longer if you get them real crunchy and get all the moisture out of them. You can also leave them out to air dry to get them even hardier. Some dogs may like them softer. Softer treats will need to be kept in the refrigerator. These treats go so fast. Big hit!

Mommy is right we gobbled them right up. makes around 25-30 treats, of course Mommy says it depend on how big of treats you make. So talk your mommy into making you some!

This is a picture of the treats mommy made today! Of course this isn't all of them! We ate the rest! Well maybe not all of them but I wish! I love when Mommy makes us treats! Maybe she will make us some of those peanut butter ones tomorrow! A dog can dream, right?

This is a video staring Me of course, Baylee, Mom and sis Ali. I just wanted to share with my friends what I do for fun. I just luv when Mommy throws the ball up the stairs and I am a show off trying to be the first to get the ball. Baylee gets a little jealous, see her trying to get the ball first at the top of the stairs. Show off, this is my ball and I get it from her all the time. She never like tennis balls until she saw how much attention I get. Now she tries to get my ball too. Luckily she can't move as fast as I can, cuz I am super dopper fastest dog! Don't you agree?

Okay now that my Mom and sis saw how good Amber-Mae is at the nose trick and they tried to get me to do it but it didn't go so well as you can see in the video below! Maybe Amber-Mae you can give my mommy some tips!

Puppy Pictures

I talked mommy into putting some pictures of her, my sis and us dogs when we were little puppies. I thought you, my friends would like to see how cute I was as a puppy, not to brag but let the pictures judge for themselves.

My Mommy, sis and me about 1 year old. See I got my eye on my sis seeing if she is smiling big like me. Heheheeh I will be 3 June 10th 2008

See how I share with my doggie sis Baylee? I take such good care of her.

This is my little sis Baylee! She was like 6 or 7 weeks. For being my little sis she sure grew bigger then me, what's up with that? Do any you doggies got younger sis's or brother's bigger then you? Not fair...I mean really, I am the oldest and should be the biggest!

Me as a puppy, see how short my fur is? Mommy was told by the breeder that I was a Lab, my papers even say so but my doggie vet says, no your a Golden! Silly Mommy don't you know what a Lab looks like? Mommy just loves me and calls me her Golden Girl and says, "I was meant to be hers!" Not sure what that meant thing means, but I am glad I have her!
