Barn Fun...Super Jumper Todd and my Aunt Wendy, Cousins Kyle and Emily and Grandma.

My hooman brother, Dale doing his homework. Lets just see what kind of work he is doing. Dale is in the 11th grade and is almost 17 and keeps talking about college, not sure what he will do at college but he is excited. Mom said he won't be able to take doggies, what will I do without him?

Sami and I haven't been able to post pictures for a few days since blogger kept giving us an error but today I was able to upload some. The above picture is of Hank the horse and My Aunt Wendy. See how Hank just loves her? I know why she just loves animals.

Let me introduce you to my cousin Kyle. Kyle is 17 and very fun to play with.

Kyle and my sis Allie riding the horses. See how Allie is seating with her legs so high, well she just got done racing like a jockey. She loves to go super fast on Bandit. Faster then I can run.This is my cousin Emily. Emily is 11 and is riding Ben. Ben is a very sweet horse. He is a Polo Horse for University of Louisille.

This is my grandma, the lady in the light green shirt. She shares lots of yummy foodies with me.

These are 2 of our doggie friends at the barn. The black doggie is Todd and the other is Jack. They both love to chase balls like Sami.

Todd is a very awesome jumper. He loves jumping the jumps but also the fence too. Doesn't he jump high? I call him super jumper Todd.

Blueberry Buckle...was yummy

Maggie and Mitch Guess what is in the oven? Mommy is making us the Blueberry Buckle recipe that we got the from you. I can't wait for it to be done and try it. As you can see I am waiting by the oven to let mommy know when it is done.

Oh, doesn't it look yummy? We didn't get to eat it until our company gets here. You see My aunt Wendy, cousins Kyle, Emily and Grandma are going to be here any minute and will be staying the weekend. It must be our lucky day! I am going to post pictures soon and tell you all about what kind of fun we had while they were down in the next few days. Mommy is busy with work stuff and has to get ready for an important work meeting tomorrow so she will be needing puter so no blogging for us till she gives it back. I do have to say that the Blueberry was a sure hit and it was gobbled up in no time at all. I mean faster then Baylee can eat her din dins and that is fast!

I have big news, Allie's Poem is getting published!

I wanted to share my Allie's poem she wrote. It was chosen to be published in. "A Celebration of Young Poets." I have to say, I am so proud of her and wanted to share with my blogging buddies. Allie also won a state award for a book she wrote too, "I Wonder Why Dragons Breathe Fire." The book which she entered in the PTA Reflections contest, she won local and regional and got an award at State. I wonder if she will write a book about a pretty golden retriever and a funny Saint Bernard?

Chill-laxing with my sis....

Chill-laxing is a new word my sis Allie taught me. One of those new cool words for relaxing.

That is what me and my Allie did today.

What Allie? Get up? You got to be joking because as you can see I am quite comfy!

See how I make Allie laugh. This is the look I gave her when she told me to Chill-lax. I was confused as to what she meant. Then she told me and I understood that she didn't want me to get up. I like chill-laxing!

Do you see it? It's a baby bunny in our yard.

Mommy tried to get it on video but I think all the barking scared the bunny off. I didn't mean to scare it with my barking. I just wanted to tell Mommy to come look cause I know how she loves animals and she just had to see this baby bunny that was visiting us.

My First Kong Experience

The tongue goes in my kong. It is love at first taste. Pure delight as my tongue touch the creamy peanut butter. It melts on my tongue. I lick and lick hoping to find more.Oh, how I love my kong. King of all treats.

Today, I did my favorite thing and that was rest. I didn't want to go outside much today since it was one of the hottest days of the year here in Kentucky. So what could be better then just taking it easy? A big girl like me needs her beauty rest on a comfy bed.

Oh, I hope Mommy doesn't see me she will make me go lay on my bed.

I hear Mommy coming I had better get up...but I wasn't fast enough and she caught me. But today must have been my lucky day cause my Mommy said I could stay.

Why, I ask. Well it appears mommy got smart, sorry mommy but you could have thought about this earlier. You see she put a top sheet over her bedding so that I could stay. I love you Mommy your the best! Oh, that sure made my day and I got lots of beauty rest and ready to chow down on my kong for the contest, yea baby!

My fun filled day..petsmart...ice cream..kongs

Today, I heard my most favorite words, "you want to go for a ride Sami?" I turned my head back and fourth saying are you kidding you know I love rides. I then got all excited when I heard the jingle of my collar and I knew she was serious. I was in such a hurry to go I made mommy forget her camera so we didn't get pictures. First we went to UPS store since mommy had to mail overnight docs for her work. Then off to Petsmart her, me and Allie went. Mommy headed back to my vet to get me and Baylee our heart worm pills while Allie took me to look at the hamsters and guinea pigs. Oh it was so much fun. Allie showed me these baby kitties that were looking for a home and Allie begged her for one but mommy just said, no not now until we get a farm. You see mommy has allergies to kitties and she is afraid to get one right now because she would fall in love with it and it would break her heart to have to get rid of it cause her eyes get puffy and swollen so she says once we get a farm we can have a barn were it can stay if it didn't work out in the house. Poor mommy....anyways what would us 2 doggies do with a kitty? Hum, we could play chase the kitty or bitty the kitties tail..hee hee.. Okay after Petsmart we went to Feeder Supply to get me a bath and groomed. It was fun but I did try to bite the blow dryer hose cuz I didn't like that thing, not one bit! Mommy saved the best for last, we went to Graters for ice cream. She got me a scoop of yummy vanilla. I give Graters 4 paws up cuz it was so yummy and the lady there was so nice. You see we were sitting outside and she came out with a spoonful of vanilla ice cream just for me not knowing mommy got me my very own scoop so I got extra! Thanks you nice lady at Graters. Oh, she even said I was just the prettiest dog, who could argue!



Okay we are back at home now and I am checking out the goodies we got. Baylee didn't get to go since she doesn't do very well getting a bath out so we bought her home the biggest drooliest bully stick. You see it is missing from the pictures? Mommy felt so bad that she didn't get to go that she couldn't wait to give it to her. I didn't get one cause Mommy said I got to go and get ice cream. See me checking out the goodies?
Baylee had to come check out the goodies too. See the bag of doggie food? Funny thing is it is the only kind Baylee likes and it is for Golden Retrievers...I think she thinks she is one just like me. Anyways She turns her nose up at any other Royal Canine dog food, even the one for Skin and joint support which she really needs since she has big joints! Oh well, you know I have food dog allergies and the vet had me try so many and well Royal Canine is the only kind I can eat but I mostly eat dinners with my hoomans so I get lots of yummy meats. Baylee does too so maybe that is why she is picky with the dog food she eats but Mommy says it isn't fair that I get yummy hooman food and she doesn't! I have a reason Mommy I get skin itchies and Baylee gets hooman food too, not fair I tell you!

OH, Amber-Mae & Faya Mommy got us our first Kongs at Petsmart as you can see in the picture us checking them out. Hum something smells yummy about these. Baylee do you smell what I smell?

Look Mommy stuff them with treats already. Yummy vanilla wafers. Lucky us!

Oh boy, yummy lets eat them Sami! Baylee the ball is mine cause I love balls and Mommy got you the extra large kong, don't you just love them? Thank You, Thank You Mommy now we can participate in the I love my Kong contest! We can't wait, mommy get the camera now, please?
