UPDATE: Thank you for all the prayers for my hooman Uncle Chris, he is still in critical condition and lost a lot of blood but they removed his Kidney and Speen and have him in a sleep induced coma so that he gets plenty of rest and is able to heal. I will keep you updated but we have faith that he will pull through! Thank you for keeping him in your prayers!

Missing Daddy! Prayers for Hooman Uncle Chris

Baylee here to say a few words to my friends! Life has been good with the exception of my stinky daddy had to leave me for a week to go away for work in Cleveland Ohio then in Michigan. Doesn't he know that I am so sad when he is away? Mom says I just get mopey and clingy but what do you expect when your master is gone! The good news he will be home Friday. In the meantime cousin Katie is down and I just love her and insist that she pet me all day long. I will try to have Mom take a picture tomorrow of me with her.

It's my turn to blog since Sami has been a lazy girl lately. First off I want to say she is much better and getting her appetite back since she had the bacterial thingy. Mom was being poop inspector and said that mine looked a little runny...no privacy I tell you Mom haven't you seen poop before, geez. So next thing I know she has me in the jeep off to the Vet but luckily they didn't find anything wrong with me and still gave me the same meds as Sami and Mommy a huge bill ( that is what she gets for being poop inspector ). My question is why do I need to take that yucky medicine if nothing is wrong with me? Huh, explain that one! I am feeling fine.

Thought I would post a picture of Sami so you know she is doing good, see she still is guarding her ball so I don't get it. I tell you she is so silly cuz I don't care about that ball, maybe a steak or treat she might have something to worry about! Heehee! Goodnight my friends. ONE more word,

Friends say a little prayer for my hooman Uncle Chris, he was in 4-wheeler wreck and having surgery tonight to remove a kidney and his spleen . He has gotten an infection and has 4 surgeons working on him tonight. He need lots of prayers tonight since he isn't in good condition. He is always bringing stray animals home to love and make sure they are taken care off. Him, his wife ( Mommy's sister) and 2 kids ( my cousins) have adopted 4 cats and 2 doggies and 1 birdie.

1) What was I doing 10 years ago? Oh Boy, hum hard one since I am only 2 so I must have been waiting to be born so I can get the family I have now!
2) What are the five things on my to do list today? Eat Din Dins, Get Allie to give me lots of cookies by looking oh so sweet, show Sami who is boss, oh wait better scratch that one till she feels better so I guess I will sun bake on my lookout point on the deck, catch some zzz’s and finally demand lots of pettings and have my family scratch my back.
3) Snacks I enjoy. Nutter Butter Cookies, bacon & cheese treat mommy makes me, oh ice cream and bully sticks.
4) Things I would do if I were a billionaire. I would get a big farm with lots of birds and ducks for me & Sami to chase, get me my own king size bed like mommy and daddy have and only let them on it when I say it is okay. Stock the pantry full of Nutter butters, bully sticks, and get me my own personal back scratcher and who would also massage me anytime I demand!

5) Three of my bad habits. Jumping on the fence and barking at the neighbors, barking at anyone who I see walk by my house and well just plopping down just anywhere I want to even if someone is in my way because I will lay right on top of them!

6) Five places I have lived. I was born in Tennessee and my now and only family picked me up at 6 weeks and too me to my new home with them to stay forevere oh that home is in Kentucky I only have live at 2 places.

7) Five jobs I have had- sleep, guard the house, protect my family and that includes Sami, yelp that’s right, you may not know this but Sami is a big scardy cat, Patrol the back yard for little creatures and collect all big rocks and finally I have to make sure to eat all mine din dins along with ALL left over to show mommy how great of a cook she is!

Barkday for Baylee..ducks for Sami?

Baylee's blog day! I decided to blog since Mommy had to take Sami to the Vet today and I'm so bored and missing her so much. Don't worry she is okay. It's just that the new dog park Mommy took Sami to last week had a dog there with giardia and mom is a worry wart! Sami is Vaccinated against giardia too but she just wants to make sure. Plus the vet said there is always a slight chance even when you have gotten the vaccination. She didn't take me yet!

I didn't get to go to that park since I scare other doggies and people with my loud bark and me being a GIANT and all plus she says I need to still work on my manners, which I totally disagree with her! I guess I will be next at the Vet depending what Mom finds out!

Update: Sami just home and she doesn't have giardia but does have a bacterial infection in her large bowel.( Colitis & Enteritis is the Diagnosis) that is going around this area. She was put on antibotics and got a shot of antibotics and DR. said all her blood work is great and all other labs came back normal but Mommy told Daddy that if i get runny poops then I have to go into the vet too. Sami had the poops...and gas too phew Sami! Mom said we will have to give her lots of extra luv and take care of her!

Hi! Baylee here long time since I wrote in the blog, I know...just been kinda lazy lately you know how us Saints can be, huh? The big news is I turned 2 May 20th. Not sure what me being 2 means but I sure like the big deal the hoomans make out of the number two. I could go for turning 2 every day if it means I get strawberry cake..yummz. I was treated like the queen of the house all day!

I got lots of pressies....I told you Sami would be so jealous and sure enough she nibbled on my barkday bonz but I let her seeing that it was so HUGE and all. When Mom opened the package a piece on the bone feel off but I guess that could be Sami's piece.

See Sami looking around in the above picture? Hee she is waiting to see if I was looking before she treat to steal a nibble off that most delic bone. Okay go ahead just one nibble!
Oh, this is so tastey!

Sami was all excited barking at the window and door. She kept running from the window to the door and Mom was like what is up. So Mom went to look and there were 2 ducks in our front yard and before she could snap the picture they went on there way and she got them from a distance. Sami was beggin Mom to let her chase them nope mom wouldn't let her out the door! So unfair I say! Sami is fast and she would have caught us one of those duckies for din dins!

Mom caught Sami being sneaky in this video. The other day we got in trouble for digging in the flower bed. We heard a birdie chirping and we were trying to rescue it. Honest Mom we just want to save the poor little birdie but Mom didn't believe us and I guess Sami wanted to check to see if she could get back in the flower bird and hunt for the birdie. Mom even heard it chirping but even she couldn't see it. She said it must have been hiding behind one of the landscape bricks in the corner. Gosh Mommy you just need to dig and dig a giant hole like we did before she yelled at us to get out of the flower bed!

Sami's Saturday Adventures

My Saturday adventure. Baylee couldn't come just yet since Mom says she needs to work on her manners. Baylee is very protective when she goes out with Allie and tends to scare people and doggies too. It really isn't her fault that she is so big and thus people are scared easily of her and then she likes to bark at them like she is about to attack them. I have well manners .

First we started off at the doggie park. This is the entrance.

Oh, and look the fire hydrant looks like my friend Faith's fur! Faith is a very boot-i-full Dalmatian. In fact she is the most boot-i-full one I have ever seen.

I saw, played and had a blast in the water and even had a drink or two.

I walked for hours and hours with such excitement.

I tired myself out walking so much and my tongue would just hang out of my mouth.

So little time and so many sniffies to sniff.

I even made a new friend but I was to busy sniffing him to ask his name.

I drooled from so much excitement!

I was brave enough to sniff the woods. I saw no strange creatures but I sure smelled them and it sent me on a wild hunt to find them. But they hid really good because I never saw them. Just too sneaky I tell you!

Then Allie found this cool looking dog house that was big enough to fit her and me too. Wow, Mom can we have one of these? I sure like it!
Okay Allie, I got to get back to sniffing out those hidden creatures. I will find you even if I have to come back every day until I do!
Come out, come out where ever you are.....but no creatures came out. I tell you....big scaredy cats.

Oh, please I just want to sniff you... Hee hee...

The hunt is one but still no creatures to be seen. I tried to get Allie to help but she thought we were playing follow the leader.

Wait...what is this? Dogs, maybe they will help me find these sneaky hidden creatures.

See the video there is a dalmatian but with brown spots and not black ones. I have never seen a brown spotted dalmatian before...maybe it is one of those hidden creatures to come out and want to play? Nope they came to see if they could help. Mom made sister Allie stay by her since she heard one of the doggies growl. But that doggie was just telling her that this is a mission for dogies only and hoomans should not be around when we do find those hidden creatures so Mommy told Allie to let us go on our hunt by ourselves. Thank you Mommy!

But we still didn't find any creatures, only sniffies they left behind. Then, my friends had to go so it was up to me to find them all by myself. I was sniffing so good that Mommy thought I was playing hiding seek. Hee hee...

and wait I think I see one...oh it's a bird..,but the bird was to fast and got away from me. I love the chase!

Then Mom said it was time to leave . No creatures today but I will come back soon.

I am in the jeep and we have arrived at our next adventure...Feeders Supply to get some treats and a new toy.

Hey, was this a trick? Mom took me straight back to the dog bath area and gave me a bath. So unfair to trick me like this, Mom!


Mom said if I was a good girl that I could shop after my bath. I was so good that they didn't even finish blow drying my fur all they way, since I don't like it at all. Mom said to pick out a toy for Sista Baylee since she didn't get to come so I picked out her a pork rawhide bone, a soccer ball and bully stick. Really the ball was for me..hee..hee but I didn't tell Mommy.
I just love to shop...well maybe I should say I love to sniff all the stuff in the pet store. I have trouble picking out toys since I just want to sniff. Allie picked me out one of those chuck-it things that throw your balls really far..she just knows I love those. Thank you Allie.

Allie tried to help me find a toy but I just wanted to sniff. Well that was my Saturday Adventure and no I am gonna take a nap since I am so exhausted. Mom when can I go again? Please tomorrow?

The new water bowl...not sure about it....

Mango we had a force field here too. The new water bowl has a force field keeping us away.

Mom was able to get me to break the force field by putting my bowl in the water, Mom that makes me so mad! She though she was being Oh, So clever...silly Mom and shame on me cause I couldn't resist. So unfair I tell you.
